If you're interested in checking out a Zoo while your in Austin, there are a few options for you to choose from. The most popular is probably the Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary. Crowe's Nest would be the second most popular. And last but not least, the Capital of Texas Zoo is located on the out-skirts of Austin, but well within range for a short visit.

9:00am-6:00pm weekends & Holidays.
Winter Hours: Rest of the Year; open daily, including Holidays, weather permitting.
10am-4pm weekdays; 10am-5pm weekends & Holidays.
Teen and Adult (12 & up) $6.99
Children (2-11) $4.99
Toddlers (under 2) free
Groups: Call for reservations. 20 or more students: $4.00 each, teachers free. Call 512-303-6675.

Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary
300 + animals located in the Texas Hill Country.
Daily open from 10:00am – 6:00pm (No admittance after 5:00pm).
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
The gift shop closes at 5:00pm.

Adults $8.00
Students (with Student ID) $6.00
Military (with Military ID) $6.00
